SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES

The Administrative Support Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities of cashiers and customer services counter for the Parking Program. This position will supervise three cashiers, assigning schedules, duties, and serving as an informational resource. The Administrative Support Supervisor is responsible for developing and revising permit procedures; counting and preparing daily deposits for permits, citations and meter fees; providing excellent customer service; and performing general office duties.

This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

* The formal education of a high school diploma

* At least one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field

* At least four years of experience in administrative support, including one year in a supervisory or leadership capacity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience working in a higher educational environment

* At least three years experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity

* Knowledge of staff development and supervision principles

* Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations

* Knowledge of computers and software applications

* Knowledge of basic accounting principles

* Ability to conduct research and perform basic quantitative quality assurance reviews

* Ability to resolve operational problems

* Ability to research, prepare, and present comprehensive written and oral reports to the supervisor
