Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a marketing leader to join our team with experience in the A/E/C (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) Industry. This role will be focused on providing a high level of customer service across the organization, as well as, provide leadership and training to other marketing team members.
Our ideal candidate will be a team leader with strong organizational and communication skills, and creative ideas that will contribute to the companys reputation, culture and brand recognition.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and excellent client service to all areas of the company.
  • Work with company leadership to create and execute company marketing plans and budget.
  • Assist with communication projects including content development/review, marketing campaigns, press releases and surveys.
  • Provide support for corporate meetings. Plan, organize and coordinate internal company events; customer events and sponsorships; and industry conferences and trade shows, including participation (and attendance as needed).
  • Manage the RFP/RFQ process from beginning to end ensuring that all submissions are timely, brand-consistent, and accurate. Understand and communicate the requirements to leadership and the proposed team. Oversee team collaboration with appropriate resources. Develop and produce (write, edit, proofread, format, print, bind) proposal responses.
  • Assist in project interview preparation with team coordination, creation and development of interview presentation materials (PowerPoint, posters, videos, leave-behinds, etc.).
  • Responsible for the organization of marketing resources, including the proposal files, marketing databases, and other electronic and physical resources that may be available.
  • Cosential CRM oversight, development and entry of project data.
  • Write, edit, research, including interviewing project personnel and reviewing existing documentation, to create and maintain all marketing material (e.g., resumes, project profiles, brochures, advertisements, press releases, boilerplate proposal text libraries, graphics, photography, jobsite signage, banners, customer information).
  • Coordinate and organize project photography based on approved parameters for schedule and budget.
  • Oversee branding, purchasing and inventory of company shirts, caps, safety vests, hard hats, event giveaways, swag, etc.
  • Adherence and reinforcement of brand consistency. Research and execute opportunities for brand awareness through award submissions, conferences, sponsorships, regional industry associations, media placements, speaking engagements, direct or electronic mail, activities, and advertising.
  • Review industry news for information reported about Baldwin & Shell as well as our customers and competitors.
  • Assist business development efforts, as needed, by researching leads, assisting with competitor analysis, customer strategy, identify key people, trends, and project opportunities (web research, etc.).
  • Oversee social media and website content, create dynamic and engaging social media posts, monitor SEO and web traffic metrics implementing adjustments as needed. Coordinate content and release dates with company leadership.
  • Manage and mentor subordinate marketing staff.Job Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree with 4 to 7 years of relevant A/E/C experience recommended
    • Active involvement in professional and community organizations, including SMPS
    • Recommended: CPSM certification (or pursuit of certification)
    • Computer skills must include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, social media platforms. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Cosential and website content management system experience preferred.
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables with simultaneous deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Technical writing skills are considered a plus.
    • Experience in hiring, training, developing, and supervising personnel
    • Cooperative team player that maintains a positive attitude with all employees and customers.
