This hands-on position offers an excellent opportunity to work outdoors in a beautiful setting and contribute to high-quality grape production. Under the guidance of the Vineyard Manager, you will perform essential tasks that ensure the vitality of our vines and the overall success of our vineyard operations. Key Responsibilities: - Prune dormant vines by removing dead wood to promote healthy new growth - Assist with weeding, digging, hoeing, and planting activities to support vineyard development - Install, maintain, and repair trellising infrastructure and irrigation lines - Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas to ensure efficient operations - Perform general vineyard care tasks as needed to support ongoing vineyard health and productivity We foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment where your contributions directly impact our vineyard’s success. Requirements: Skills and Qualifications: - Ability to follow detailed instructions and work carefully with vines and tools - Prior experience in pruning, landscaping, farming, or outdoor manual work preferred - Experience with hedgers, trimmers, or mechanical pruners is a plus - Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of irrigation or vineyard infrastructure is a plus - Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions - Valid driver's license - Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks - Good visual ability and manual dexterity - Muscadine grape experience is a plus but not required - Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team - Requires walking, standing, bending, and working with arms overhead
