Position Functions The Assistant Project Manager will assist the
Project Manager, Site Superintendent with day-to-day management of
project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts,
subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, proposals, estimates,
documentation, turnover, client interface field-based activities,
and other duties required to execute projects, construction
management, and project management ventures. Essential Position
Functions Assists the Project Manager with the pre-construction
process, project budgets, reviewing required work with
subcontractors, and preplanning operational activities. Assists the
Project Manager by reviewing scopes of work. Assists the Project
Manager in building and maintaining strong relationships with
Owners, Architects, Engineers, Project Team, and Subcontractors.
Communicates regularly with all involved parties regarding project
plans, status of the project, upcoming activities, and open issues.
Assists the Project Manager with setting up initial budgets by
tabulating each required scope of work and inputting into required
project management and accounting systems. Note: The statements

None at this time. Education and Qualifications To perform this
position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

essential functions. Bachelor's degree in a related field or a
minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training, or an
equivalent combination of education and experience. One (1) years
construction experience required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to adhere to quality standards within company requirements
& industry codes and standards to include but not limited to
ASHRAE, SMACNA, ASME, ASTM, NFPA, NACE, IBC & NEC. Knowledge of
Energy Services Construction. Knowledge and familiarity with
architectural drawings. Ability to work independently and
efficiently manage time/workload. Ability to communicate safety
plans as needed. Ability to resolve any safety related conflicts
with the customer and inside Veregy. Ability to communicate safety
related issues to Veregy Management. Ability to effectively respond
to common inquiries or complaints from customers and staff. Ability
to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid
conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of
instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to prioritize tasks and tactfully negotiate priorities with
end users. Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours
if needed. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid Drivers
