Description:Job SummaryThe Test & Certificate Engineer is responsible for ensuring the technical integrity of products through comprehensive testing, certification, and verification processes.Essential Job Functions

  • Create and maintain product certification/approval documentation.
  • Monitor applicable standards for modifications, addendums and updates that may impact certifications/approvals for Roxtec products.
  • Serve as liaison to testing facilities and certifying organizations.
  • Schedule and witness tests of Roxtec products by appropriate testing facilities.
  • Develop and implement procedures for testing and certifying Roxtec products.
  • Participate in analyzing product deficiencies and production problems and initiating corrective Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
  • Execute Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
  • Develop and deliver new employee onboarding training.
  • Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers.
  • Take part in product development initiatives
  • Participate in industry standards and technical committees.Requirements:Requirements

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings, codes, standards, regulations, and test data.
    • Ability to convey technical information to all levels of an organization.
    • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
    • Demonstrate a high level of mechanical aptitude.
    • Basic understanding of drafting and familiarity with ANSI and ASME standards.
    • Ability to travel up to 35% of the timeEducation and Experience
      • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, chemical, fire protection, or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Autodesk.
      • Experience in product testing/certification preferred.
      • Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) preferred.
      • Experience in international projects and cross-cultural communication preferred.Physical Requirements
