Job Description Job Description Job Title: Process Technician Job Description We are seeking dedicated Process Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shifts who will be responsible for changing out, setting up, and preparing plastic injection machinery for operation. This role involves overseeing start-ups, shut downs, and troubleshooting machinery to ensure optimal performance. Additional responsibilities include rigging and hoisting molds, performing maintenance and troubleshooting, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Training new technicians and collaborating with the tool room on tooling needs are also essential duties. Responsibilities Set up and prepare plastic injection machinery for operation. Oversee start-ups, shut downs, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations. Rig and hoist molds in and out of machinery, and perform assembly and disassembly. Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on molds. Utilize LOTO and adhere to safety standards. Train new mold and process technicians. Collaborate with the tool room on tooling needs and repairs. Essential Skills Experience in the plastic injection molding industry. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform maintenance and troubleshooting. Proficiency in using hand, power, and pneumatic tools. Experience utilizing forklifts and hoists. Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and climb ladders. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to read and interpret machine drawings, diagrams, and schematics. Experience with process sheets for program swapping. Stable job tenure preferred. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Goshen, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
