Job Description Job Description Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Job Description As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures, ensuring the production of high-quality images with minimal repeats. You will apply radiation and physical safety measures, calculate appropriate exposure factors, and evaluate images for diagnostic quality. Your role includes explaining procedures and observing patients to ensure safety and comfort during exams. Responsibilities Perform routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures. Produce high-quality images with minimal repeats while applying safety measures. Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality. Explain procedures to patients and ensure their safety and comfort during exams. Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and monitor for reactions. Oversee duties assigned to student radiographers. Handle telephone scheduling procedures. Operate the PACS computer system. Essential Skills Radiology Radiologic Technology Imaging Additional Skills & Qualifications Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA. Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT. Basic Life Support certification. Work Environment You will work in a 656-bed hospital that includes specialized centers such as The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr. Company benefits - active first day of the month after 30 days of employment Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Tulsa,OK.
