Job Description Job Description About the Role: The Quality
Control Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that all products
meet or exceed established quality standards before reaching the
customer. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire
quality control process, from document and process control to final
inspection and testing of materials. The manager will lead the
development, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems
that align with regulatory requirements and company policies. By
analyzing data through statistical process control and other
quality assurance tools, the manager will identify areas for
continuous improvement to enhance product reliability and customer
satisfaction. Ultimately, this role ensures that product
specifications are consistently met, minimizing defects and
supporting the company’s reputation for excellence in the
marketplace. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5
years of experience in quality control or quality assurance roles
within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong knowledge
of quality systems such as ISO 9001 and familiarity with regulatory
compliance requirements. Proficiency in document control, process
control, and final inspection methodologies. Experience with
statistical process control (SPC) and materials testing techniques.
Preferred Qualifications: Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or
Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
certification. Experience working in a regulated industry such as
aerospace, automotive, or medical devices. Advanced skills in data
analysis software and quality management systems (QMS) software.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional quality improvement
projects. Strong leadership and communication skills with
experience managing diverse teams. Responsibilities: Develop,
implement, and maintain quality control procedures and
documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and
customer requirements. Manage and supervise the quality control
team, providing training and guidance on quality assurance
practices and process control techniques. Conduct final inspections
and materials testing to verify that products meet specified
quality criteria before shipment. Utilize statistical process
control methods to monitor production processes and identify trends
or deviations that require corrective action. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and
supply chain to resolve quality issues and drive continuous
improvement initiatives. Skills: The required skills such as
document control and process control are essential for establishing
and maintaining rigorous quality standards and ensuring
traceability of quality records. Final inspection and materials
testing skills are applied daily to verify that products conform to
specifications and to detect any defects early in the production
cycle. Quality assurance and quality control expertise enable the
manager to design and implement effective quality systems that
comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Statistical process control skills are used to analyze production
data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to prevent
quality issues. Preferred skills like certification and advanced
data analysis enhance the manager’s ability to lead quality
initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and communicate
effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
