Supervisor, Medical Management (Non-Clinical) Position Purpose: Supervise the day-to-day operations of the medical review unit - Oversee changes to medical review unit functions and performance in relation to company mission, philosophy objectives and policies - Assist senior management with budgets and forecast for strategic planning and key initiatives. Balance current and future needs effectively based on daily analysis of volumes and staffing. - Coordination with departments associated with the lines of business within the Medical Review unit - Assist senior management with statistical analysis of data and provide input regarding processes and gaps in performance related work volumes and staffing - Perform departmental quality audits for team members and educate team regarding process and workflow improvement Education/Experience: Associate's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of related experience in healthcare, medical review or claims. Previous experience as a supervisor or in a lead role. Ability to promote and carry out initiatives associated with driving quality results in a production driven environment.
