SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES

Reporting to the CIO, the Director, IT Operations & Planning Services will be responsible for the oversight and management of the IT Services Operations & Planning Services team ensuring the efficiency of business operations as well as assisting the CIO leadership team in setting strategic operational goals for the future. Areas this role will be responsible for include budgeting/planning, accounting, procurement and coordinating with Human Resources on talent management needs.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

* Bachelor s degree in business management or related field

* At least six years of experience in a specialized or a related field applicable to work performed

* At least two years supervisory experience

* Knowledge of university financial/HR information systems, administrative practices and policies

* Excellent organizational and leadership skills

* Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written

* Strong analytical abilities
