Dialysis Centers of Northwest Arkansas (DCNA) is committed to improving the quality of life and providing the best care for patients with acute and chronic renal disease. We are looking for a Licensed Social Worker to join our team! The Dialysis Treatment Team consists of Board Certified Nephrologists, Registered Nurses, Dietitians, and Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technicians.Position Summary:This position is responsible for assisting patients and their families with personal and environmental difficulties affecting their illnesses and subsequent medical care. This position has exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases. Majority of time is spent sitting (up to 60% of work time) with frequent standing and/or walking required (up to 40% of work time). Populations served include: adults and geriatrics.Licenses/Certifications Required:Licensed Master of Social Worker in ArkansasSpecific Educational & Skills Competencies Required:Good communication and organizational skills as usually acquired through completion of a Master's program in social work. Previous experience leading support groups, performing assessments and providing intervention as usually demonstrated through one year of related experience. Must demonstrate excellent organizational and communications.
