role of the Employee Education Staff Educator reports to the
Executive Director of Talent and Development. This position is
responsible for educating, organizing, executing, and maintaining
relevant curriculum for clinical staff across the system and serve
as an instructor in various WR educational programs, as assigned.
This position must be able to educate to and comply with the
clinical policies and procedures of Washington Regional Medical
Center. This position must possess the knowledge of the functions
and responsibilities of the programs, skills sessions, and courses
taught and must be able to perform the skills needed to execute
proper training.ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES* Develop lesson
plans incorporating current policies and procedures of Washington
Regional Medical Center* Teach programs assigned and curriculum
developed by the education team* Effectively communicate with Unit
based leadership, educators, and staff* Organize and execute
hands-on clinical experiences for students within assigned
programs* Provide continuous communication with education team
regarding educational needs, program and education performance
criteria feedback, changes needed in order to maintain relevant
instructionQualificationsEducation: Must be a graduate of an
accredited nursing programLicensure and Certifications: Arkansas RN
License and BLS required. BLS Instructor, ACLS Instructor and PALS
Instructor required within 6 months of hire.Experience: Minimum of
2 years within the healthcare field serving in a direct patient
care position. Registered Nurse experience required. Previous
education or instructor experience preferred.Work EnvironmentThis
position will spend 80% of the time walking and standing while
instructing and 20% of the time sitting. This position will spend a
majority of time twisting, pulling, lifting, bending, leaning, and
