Job Description:
Long Term General Surgeon Opportunity - Any State License
Accepted
Specialty: Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgeon
Client: Veterans Affairs
Location: Fayetteville, AR
Dates coverage is needed: Approx start date early August 1 year
(min 6 months commitment rqr d)
Schedule/Shifts Times: Monday Friday, 8a 4:30p
Call Requirements: 1:2 rotation
Patient Volume: 8-10 patients per day average
Patient Ages: Adults only
Types of Cases: upper and lower endos, Appendectomies, Hernias (no
hearts or heads)
Support Staff: yes Specialty Physicians on staff (Anesthesiologist,
Emergency Medicine, Gastro, etc), NP & PA s, RN s
Type of Charting: EMR CPRS (VAMC EMR System)
Requirements: BLS, ACLS (through American Heart), DEA (fee paid,
schedules 2-5)
Reason for Need: staff shortage
Credentialing Timeframe: 4-6 weeks on average
Additional Info: any State License
