Job Description AHS Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Neurology for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Neurology - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Positions: 2/nShift: Nights, 7p-7a, weekends and holidays as needed/n*Unit will consider 4x12s/n-/nNo blocked scheduling/nRN Days ratio is 5-6 patients per nurse/nTraveler must have experience with ratios at least 5-6 patients per nurse/n/nRequirements:/nBLS, ACLS, NIHSS/nA strong neuro background is required, experience with tele is also preferred/n2 years exp in specialty/nPrevious travel exp preferred/n/nA strong neuro background is required, experience with tele is also preferred. The Medical-Surgical nurse is responsible for managing the care of the adult or geriatric patient experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical procedures. The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education.
