As a Registered Nurse, you will employ the nursing process to
deliver exceptional patient care. You will hold professional
accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients and

caregivers. Collaboration with various departments to coordinate

Title: Registered Nurse Department: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit
(PACU) Work Schedule: PRN (as needed) Qualifications: Educational
Background: Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program
(Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure: It is your
responsibility to secure and maintain a valid RN license in the
state of employment or a compact license, adhering to all state
board of nursing regulations. Certifications: Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or
completion of the course within 30 days of employment. Additional
certifications may be required based on the specific unit or
position, to be obtained within the designated timeframe: ACLS
(Advanced Cardiac Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation
Program) ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) TNCC (Trauma
Nursing Core Course) CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology
Nurse) OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life
Support) PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
S.T.A.B.L.E. (Six Assessment & Care Modules) C-EFM (Fetal Monitor
Certification) Other unit-specific certifications as necessary
Physical Demands: The role requires: Regularly pushing, pulling, or
lifting up to 50 lbs. Prolonged periods of standing and walking
during shifts. The ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and
