Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work day shift Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (4 ten-hour shifts) • 13-week travel assignment with ASAP start date • 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required with combination of Orthopedic, Plastics, and OB/GYN experience • Required certifications: Active RN license, ACLS, BLS, PALS • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care planning • Work as part of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room technicians • Ensure supplies and timeliness of surgical cases • Communicate with patient families throughout surgical procedures • Update physician preference cards and maintain operating room standards • Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures • Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the operating room • Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and regulatory requirements • Adhere to hospital and surgical department policies and procedures Facility: This specialized women's hospital focuses on providing comprehensive healthcare services specifically for women.
