Full Time Overview: The Physical Therapist delivers in-home therapy
services to individuals experiencing neurological and
musculoskeletal conditions, following the guidance of a physician.
This role necessitates a valid license, prior experience in acute
or home care settings, excellent assessment and communication
abilities, as well as strong organizational skills for scheduling.
The position involves direct patient care, emergency response,
travel to patients' residences, and collaboration with healthcare
professionals while ensuring confidentiality is upheld. Discover

physical therapy to patients with neurological and/or
musculoskeletal issues, under physician supervision. Position
Details: Physical Therapist - Home Care 40 hours per week, Day
shifts Location: Jefferson Hospital Festus, MO 63028 In this
position, you will offer in-home physical therapy services to
patients dealing with neurological and/or musculoskeletal
disorders, guided by a physician's directives. Qualifications:
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy
program. Licensure: Must hold a current state license and a valid
driver's license. Experience: A minimum of two years in acute care
or home care is preferred. Certifications: CPR certification is
required. Additional Requirements: Strong assessment and treatment
planning skills are essential. Must be energetic, possess good
interpersonal skills, and demonstrate effective time management and
problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and
documentation skills are necessary. Physical capability to lift up
to 50 pounds frequently, with occasional lifting of more than 50
pounds. Ability to work independently and manage emergencies
without assistance. Adaptability to change, initiative in setting
challenging goals, and a desire for continuous learning are
important. Must be able to drive in potentially hazardous
conditions and follow both written and verbal instructions,
including map reading. Independently scheduling patient visits in a
timely manner is required, along with daily check-ins with the
office to update the schedule. Participation in weekend and on-call
rotations is expected, with regular interaction with agency staff,
physicians, hospital personnel, and the public. Regular handling of
