This position offers a flexible schedule, including both day and night shifts, along with variable shift incentives. Candidates must possess the necessary licensure and certification as either a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist. This role entails providing comprehensive patient care in respiratory therapy, following physician orders. You will also consult with physicians regarding the effectiveness of treatments and serve as a knowledgeable resource for both physicians and nursing staff concerning respiratory care. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed. Positions available for RRT and CRT GIG. Compensation: $35/hr for RRT and $30/hr for CRT, plus variable shift incentives. Enjoy flexibility in choosing day or night shifts and the number of hours you wish to work. There are no mandatory weekend, holiday, or shift requirements. GIG Highlights Base Rate: $30 (CRT) - $35 (RRT) per hour W-2 Employee status Variable shift incentives available Options for 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts Job Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in all areas of respiratory therapy, adhering to physician orders. Consult with physicians regarding therapy effectiveness and act as a resource for nursing and medical staff on respiratory care. Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary. Qualifications: Education: Completion of a CoArc accredited Respiratory Care program. Licensure: Must meet state licensure standards and hold a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license. Certifications: Must possess either the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For those working in the Emergency Room, PALS certification is required, along with ACLS certification. Experience: A minimum of one year of experience is required, excluding orientation time. Physical Requirements: The role involves physical demands such as pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs, as well as minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
