Jordan Valley Community Health Center, a leader in providing integrated health services, is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. This position is instrumental in facilitating patient care, offering support and direct nursing services across our medical, dental, behavioral health, and optometry departments. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about working in a multi-disciplinary setting and committed to delivering exceptional care to underserved communities. Perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care under the supervision of healthcare providers. Prepare patients for examinations, assist with procedures and administer medications as directed. Record patient history and personal information while maintaining confidentiality and following compliance standards. Ensure operational readiness of clinical equipment, and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with other health care professionals and departments to ensure holistic care delivery. Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform all required tasks in a medical assistant or LPN role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and other healthcare providers. Organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple responsibilities concurrently. Empathetic and compassionate approach towards patients' needs and concerns. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification. Active CPR certification required.
