Overview: This role is for a full-time Registered Nurse in the
Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU), dedicated to delivering
specialized care to patients facing critical health challenges. The
position involves overseeing advanced treatment techniques such as
continuous renal replacement therapy and extracorporeal membrane
oxygenation, along with opportunities for continuous education and
professional development. Applicants should possess a nursing
degree, a valid RN license, and pertinent certifications, with a
preference for those who have prior ICU experience. Discover Your

Intensive Care Unit is a 24-bed critical care facility that caters
to a diverse range of patient needs. Our service lines encompass
Cardiovascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Medical, and Trauma Surgery.
Nurses in this unit provide highly specialized care, managing
various treatment modalities, including but not limited to:
Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump,
Left Ventricular Assist Device (Impella), Therapeutic Hypothermia,
Intraventricular Device and Intracranial Pressure monitoring, and
Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) therapy. The ICU is
supported by a dedicated unit educator, along with clinical
supervisors and coordinators, to enhance learning opportunities and
provide real-time education and competency validation. The diverse
acuity levels create an environment conducive to the growth of both
knowledge and skills. Qualifications: Experience: A minimum of one
year of ICU experience is preferred. Required Education: Nursing
degree from an accredited institution. License: Current RN license
in the state. Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from
the American Heart Association, NIH certification within 60 days of
hire and annually. ASLS training must be completed within 6 months
