Registered Nurse (RN) | Postpartum Location: Tulsa, OK Agency: MEDSCoders Pay: $1,500 to $1,521 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Months Start Date: 1/27/2026 About the Position Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns Perform maternal assessments (fundus, lochia, pain, incision/perineal care) Conduct newborn assessments, vital signs, and screenings Support and educate patients on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery Administer medications, IV therapy, and immunizations as ordered Monitor for complications such as postpartum hemorrhage, infection, and hypertension Provide discharge planning and patient education Promote mother–infant bonding and family-centered care Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Requirements Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State or Compact) BLS certification (required) Strong communication and patient education skills Postpartum, Mother–Baby, or Women’s Health experience Lactation education or breastfeeding support training ACLS (facility dependent) Benefits Full Benefits.
