Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Quality/Risk
Director to lead our quality assurance and risk management
initiatives across our network of inpatient rehabilitation
hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice agencies. This
influential role is pivotal in ensuring that all aspects of patient
care are in compliance with the highest standards of safety,
effectiveness, and legal requirements. The Quality/Risk Director
will strategize and implement quality and risk management programs
while collaborating with healthcare teams to foster an environment
of continuous improvement. Develop, implement, and maintain
comprehensive quality assurance and risk management policies and
procedures. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance
with state, federal, and industry regulations. Lead and mentor
quality assurance and risk management teams across various
locations. Analyze patient care-related incidents and develop
strategies to reduce risks and improve outcomes. Collaborate with
clinical staff and management to integrate quality improvement
strategies with patient care processes. Prepare and present
detailed reports on the status of risk management and quality
improvement initiatives to senior management. Stay abreast of the
latest trends in healthcare regulations and advancements in patient
care technology. Expert knowledge of healthcare regulations and
quality assurance systems. Strong leadership and team management
skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for
effective collaboration across various departments. Proven ability
to analyze and interpret data related to risk management and
quality assurance. Skilled in problem-solving and decision-making.
