Responsibilities: Evaluate clients to assess their eligibility for
therapy services Develop and adapt individualized treatment plans
tailored to the client’s unique needs and goals Implement
interventions designed to maximize gross motor skills, functional
mobility, and independence Teach clients new ways of approaching
tasks, breaking activities into manageable components Recommend and
train clients in the use of adaptive equipment as necessary Educate
patient, family members and/or caregivers on exercises, techniques,
and care strategies Document patient progress and treatment plans
in accordance with clinic policies and deadlines Maintain
consistent communication with clients, their families, and other
team members Skills Required: Proven experience as a Physical
Therapist (or completion of clinical experience) Strong critical
thinking skills with a flexible, growth-oriented mindset In-depth
knowledge of PT principles and practices Familiarity with physical
therapy assessments and Medicaid guidelines Ability to work with
diverse patient personalities and care needs Continuous drive to
learn and stay current with new treatment practices Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills Valid PT license - or
anticipated licensure date Graduate degree or higher in Physical
Therapy Bi-lingual preferred but not required
