Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Tulsa, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,020 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: - 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience - 1-2 years of recent experience in nursing License: - Valid RN license Certifications: - BLS - NRP Must-Have: - Basic and intermediate fetal monitoring experience - Medication titrations for oxytocin and magnesium - Cervical dilation checks - Labor management - Experience as RN circulator during cesarean sections - PACU recovery of cesarean section patients - Peripheral line care and management - Isolation precautions and PPE usage - Computerized documentation experience Description: Responsible for monitoring fetal heart rates and managing labor. Administers medications and titrates as per protocols. Performs cervical dilation assessments and triages obstetrical patients. Manages labor and assists in vaginal deliveries as well as cesarean sections. Carries out PACU recovery procedures for cesarean section patients. Ensures proper care and management of peripheral lines. Follows isolation precautions and uses personal protective equipment appropriately. Documents all patient care activities in the computerized system. Participates in rapid response team activations. Maintains a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2. Familiar with high-risk antepartum care, multiple gestations, and various obstetrical complications. Assists in breastfeeding support and lactation. Demonstrates skills in monitoring and managing abnormal fetal heart rate patterns. Provides postpartum care and education to new mothers.
