Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a local position in Sapulpa,
Oklahoma. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in
psychiatric settings, managing patient treatment plans, and
functioning as a vital link between patients and their treatment
teams. The successful candidate will play a critical role in
assessing patient needs, administering medications, and providing
emotional support to patients with various psychiatric disorders.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental
health needs and treatment goals. Administer medications accurately
and monitor for side effects. Collaborate with psychiatrists,
psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop
effective treatment plans. Educate patients and their families on
mental health conditions and care techniques. Document patient care
services and treatment progress clearly and accurately. Strong
understanding of psychiatric disorders and treatment methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle
high-stress situations and make critical decisions. Proficient in
following strict privacy and ethical guidelines. Valid Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma. Certification in
Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMHN) is preferred.
