Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare seeks a compassionate and dedicated
Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse to join our team
in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. In this pivotal role, you will be
responsible for monitoring patients who are recovering from
anesthesia following surgery. Leveraging our commitment to
providing top-notch healthcare services, you will have the chance
to work in an environment geared towards enhancing patient outcomes
and expanding your professional expertise. This position affords
you the unique opportunity to interact closely with patients,
ensuring their safe and effective recovery, while collaborating
with a team of skilled healthcare professionals. Monitor patient
vital signs and levels of consciousness during the recovery phase
from anesthesia. Assess, identify, and manage patients’ pain levels
and post-operative complications. Coordinate with surgeons and
anesthesiologists to implement post-operative care plans. Educate
patients and their families on post-procedure care and health
maintenance. Ensure all clinical operations comply with healthcare
regulations and safety standards. Extensive knowledge of PACU
protocols, anesthesia recovery, and pain management. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient
interactions. Ability to operate and troubleshoot PACU equipment.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
Current RN license in the state of Oklahoma. BLS (Basic Life
Support) Certification required. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support) Certification preferred.
