Job Description Job title: Physician Specialty: Internal Medicine/ Family Medicine/ Emergency Medicine Pay rate: $100/hr. -$150/hr. Duration: 1 year to long term Location: Farmington MO 63640 Hours/week: 40 Hours/week Job Description: Integrated Healthcare: PCPs at SMMHC are trained to recognize and manage a wide range of physical and mental health conditions, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care. Physical Examinations and Diagnosis: They conduct routine physical checkups, assess patients' overall health, and diagnose common medical conditions. Mental Health Support: They are equipped to diagnose and treat common mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Medication Management: PCPs prescribe and manage medications for both physical and mental health conditions, monitoring their effectiveness and Potential side effects. Care Plan Development: They collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the specific needs of each patient. The primary care physician will collaborate with other primary care physicians and nurse practitioners, along with psychiatrists/psychiatric NP's and other treatment team members on the wards to which he/she is assigned. A full and unrestricted Missouri license is preferred, but the client will consider applicants who have completed academic training but are currently unlicensed.
