to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74104!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor
and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12
hours Experience: 1-2 years recent experience required. License:
Valid RN license required. Certifications: BLS, NRP required.
Must-Have: - Previous travel experience preferred. -
Basic/intermediate fetal monitoring skills. - High-risk antepartum
experience. Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in
the Labor and Delivery unit. Responsibilities include monitoring
fetal heart rates and managing labor. Experience with forceps and
vacuum extraction is required. Knowledge of medications such as
Pitocin and magnesium sulfate is essential. The nurse will assist
with vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Skills in recognizing and
treating abnormal fetal heart rate patterns are necessary. Support
for breastfeeding and lactation is part of the role. The nurse will
be involved in postpartum care and assessment. Experience with
high-risk patients, including those with pre-eclampsia and
diabetes, is important. The role requires effective collaboration
with interdisciplinary teams. Candidates should be comfortable
floating to like units as needed. Weekend coverage is required. 5
