Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Tulsa, OK Agency:

Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Summary: Provides clinical
patient care by administering appropriate treatment. Completes
patient records in a timely manner. Provides instruction (teaching)
to patients and/or family members. Job Responsibilities: -Provides
clinical patient care by administering appropriate treatment.
-Progresses patient treatment as appropriate. -Assists RPT in
modifying and re-setting functional goals. -Carries patient load
that reflects productivity standards. -Provides documentation by 1)
maintaining appropriate treatment records; 2) completing accurate
daily patient charge sheets. -Completes patient records in a timely
(same day) manner. -Accurately reflects time spent and procedures
performed as well as equipment issued in patient charges.
-Maintains technical (education) expertise through: 1) attendance
and participation in continuing education activities; and 2)
departmental in-services. -Attends 95% of scheduled in-services and
departmental meetings. -Attends one off-campus continuing-education
activity per year. -Provides instruction (teaching) to patients
and/or family members. -Follows care path guidelines for
patient/family education and documentation of home programs.
-Teaches patient/family member proper use of equipment issued.
-Follows set guidelines for daily operations. -Schedules and
prioritizes daily work assignments. -Delegates, as appropriate, to
support personnel basic patient treatments to follow through with.
-Assists with PT volunteers and RPTA students as requested by
(in-charge) therapist. -Consistent and correct time-care
utilization. -Decision Making: Independent judgment in making minor
decisions where alternatives are limited, and standard
policies/protocols have been established. -Working Relationships:
Coordinates activities of others (does not supervise). -Leads
others in same work performed (does not supervise). -Works directly
with patients and/or customers. -Works with internal customers via
telephone or face to face interaction. -Works with external
customers via telephone or face to face interaction. -Works with
other healthcare professionals and staff.

-Zero (0) - six (6) months of related experience. -Ability to use
computers, basic computer knowledge, as needed for data input and
reporting. -Effective interpersonal, oral, and written
communication skills. -Effective time management skills. Preferred
