Job Posting: Human Resources - Compensation Coordinator Employment Type: Full Time Location: Washington Regional Medical Center - Fayetteville, AR Department: Human Resources Shift: Monday - Friday FTE: Job Number: JO-2102-41715 Date Posted: 2/19/2021 Categories: General Support POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for coordinating the exempt and non-exempt compensation and evaluation systems for Washington Regional. Contributes to the accuracy and integrity of data regarding system wages and position designations under the DOL/FLSA. Duties include, but are not limited to, maintenance of electronic personnel records, maintaining accurate wage book and internal equity data, calculating and reporting employee turnover, participating in wage surveys, assembling data for employee assessments/evaluations, and processing personnel-related data changes. The incumbent contributes information for consideration of the Wage and Salary Committee that is charged with maintaining salary competitiveness and internal equity. This position has exposure to a general office environment. The majority of work time is spent sitting, with frequent standing and walking of short distances. Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending and stooping as associated with office related filing is required.LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED BA/BS in Business or other related degree preferredSPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL AND SKILL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED BA/BS in Business or other related degree preferred. Minimum 1 year healthcare human resources experience required, compensation experience strongly preferred. Some additional coursework related to business or human resources is preferred. Current HRIS system is Lawson, experience strongly preferred. Must be able to operate standard office equipment including the ID badge processing system. Must be proficient with MSOffice software, specifically Excel and Word, experience with Access, Crystal or SQL database systems is preferred. Must possess the ability to communicate with a culturally diverse group of people in both verbal and written formats as well as communicate effectively with all levels of management.
