Information Technology Manager Job Summary: This position performs a broad range of duties while working with various aspects of the Group’s infrastructure. The person occupying this position may assist end-users with problems, installing and setting up computer systems, working on telecommunications systems, access control systems, security systems, camera systems, automation, and other technology projects. Information Technology Manager Duties/Responsibilities: Develop and update technology plan, which includes coordination with business units on their needs, researching latest technology solutions and determining how to integrate them into the Group’s business Manage internal resources and outsourced services to maximize value Develop and manage a budget for IT expenditures Evaluate technology devices and services Provide assistance to teams regarding technology usage Develop and manage central administrative resources such as servers, databases, and application software Deploy new technologies and revitalize current systems Manage technology projects with appropriate research, planning, testing and training end users Maintain documentation on IT infrastructure and passwords Develop and maintain controls to safeguard company information and assets against loss from both internal and external threats Information Technology Manager Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise interns and assistants, vendors and contractors working on company hardware and software Information Technology Manager Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to apply knowledge of networking technologies Advanced computing skills Advanced Technical writing skills Information Technology Manager Education and Experience: Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree Required: Server and database management experience Preferred: Three years of experience in technology related field Information Technology Manager Physical and/or Travel Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time Ability to travel via automobile and air Travel may be up to 20% to include approximately 10% overnight business Information Technology Manager Benefits: Paid time off and Holidays Simplified Employee Pension Plan Health Insurance Group Life Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Gallup Leadership Development training
