SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES
The Information Systems Administrator serves as the application
administrator for the student housing contracting software for
University Housing. In addition to application administration, this
position will be responsible for developing and maintaining student
facing processes; creating maintaining and distributing critical
dynamic reports; and maintaining the functionality of processes,
devices, and systems that interact with the software.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential
job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial,
harmonious working relationships with others.

* The formal education equivalent of a bachelors degree in computer
science, computer applications, mathematics, or a related field
* At least two years of experience in computer support
* Completion of technical training in computer science, data
processing, or a related field acquired from a vocational,
military, or industrial setting
* At least four years of experience in computer support
* At least one year of supervisory experience

* Experience working with student housing contracting software
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAS)
* Knowledge of the limitations and use of mainframe and
microcomputer hardware and software
* Ability to gather needs from business partners and create
processes that fulfill those needs within a software tool
* Ability to create moderate database queries
* Ability to analyze computer system problems or errors and devise
* Ability to read and interpret technical literature and evaluate
product acceptability and/or quality
* Ability to code, test, debug computer programs, and write program
* Ability to create online training material and host in-person
