The role of the EVS Tech I is responsible for the daily cleaning
of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices and
other areas as assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Position requires the ability to interact in a positive manner
with coworkers, patients and their families.
- This position has exposure to industrial strength cleanings
chemicals, body fluids and communicable diseases.
- The majority of work time is spent standing and walking
(approximately 80% of work time)
- Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 25-50-lbs.(approximately
20% of work time) is required.
- Frequent pushing and pulling of medical equipment and the EVS
supply cart is required.
- Must have the ability to climb ladders.
- Must have ability to learn Teletracking software and use
approved electronic devices.
