Technical Training Specialist

Job Title: Technical Customer Training Professional II

Department: Services – Trimble BCFS

Direct Report: Client Services Manager

Trimble BCFS, a division of Trimble Navigation, is currently seeking a Technical Trainer. Our trainers provide onsite as well as online training to customers who are using Trimble’s software and hardware. The trainer is also expected to keep up with new releases and update the training curriculum and training materials. Travel is expected up to 80% of the time.

Primary Responsibilities:

Represent the company values to our clients
Address primary issues of Technical training for the BCFS product line (RTS, X7 Scanner, GNSS, Scanning Software, Etc.) and Trimble Connect including:

  • Mid-Level training of products that require a more in-depth knowledge of the hardware and software

Provide technical training via:

  • Onsite Training (no more than 3 weeks per month)
  • Virtual Classroom Training, Webinars and Customized Trainings
  • Direct email and phone communication within our CSM software
  • Remote Methods such as TeamViewer, ReadyTech, GotoMeeting, and Google Hangouts
  • Create and update materials for classroom trainings, eLearning courses, and training videos
  • Provide client support by actively working in the training queue when not in training or working on training documentation
  • Provide solutions through the usage of support systems, training documentation, resource teams via Google Chat

Require Skills & Experience:

5+ years of related technical training experience

2 to 4 years of experience using Revit, AutoCAD, and scanning software(RealWorks, Cyclone, CloudEngine)
Knowledge of Google Suite (Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Presentation experience to medium and small groups, both remote and in-person
Ability to educate a variety of roles and parties involved in the project (IT, Operations, Users)
Self-Motivated, innovative, and influential
Excellent written, verbal, visual, and interpersonal communication skills which transcend language and cultural barriers
Ability to make effective, timely decisions
Ability to travel up to 80% of the time

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
