Position Summary
The role of the Development Executive Assistant reports to the
Executive Director of Washington Regional Medical Foundation. This
position is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative
assistance to the Executive Director and primary support for major
and planned giving programs. This position will spend 90% of the
time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment
and 10% of the time standing and/or walking short distances while
occasionally pushing, pulling, lifting and/or carrying up to 50
lbs.
Essential Job Responsibilities
* Interface regularly with donors and prospective donors as a point
of contact to the Executive Director and to provide appropriate
specialized information
* Assist with drafting proposals, presentations, and preparing gift
impact reports as assigned by the Executive Director
* Manage the calendar of the Executive Director and assist with
scheduling meeting and appointments
* Maintain and update records in the donor database, including
donor documents and other relationship management information,
while ensuring and maintaining strict confidentiality of donor
information
* Manage the process for philanthropic requests, pledges, and
contributions; prepares and distributes pledge reminders
* Coordinate research, gift data analysis, and screening of current
and prospective donors
* Provide assistance and serve as a back-up to all areas of
Development, including major gifts, annual gifts, corporations and
foundation relations
* Troubleshoot for the Development staff and take appropriate
actions to facilitate expedient resolution
Qualifications
* Education: Associate degree or higher in a related field of study
or work experience equivalent
* Licensure and Certifications: Valid Drivers license and auto
insurance, required.
* Experience: A minimum of five years of experience serving in a
support role or similar role.
