We are looking for an emotionally intelligent, focused, communicative team member to help us grow our account strategy team. This position will be responsible for helping Lofty's growing list of clients ensure their projects are successful while driving value for the client and the business. A Lofty Account Strategist sits at the intersection of Business, Technology, Design, and Software Development.
The ideal candidate would be elastic and ready to help out anywhere they were needed on the Account Strategy, Business Operations, or Marketing Teams. The main functions of this role will be to engage directly with Lofty's clients to manage the relationship by guiding the internal development team to the customer's desired outcome while helping the client identify true business problems they need resolved with custom software development.

Can you work with clients and internal team members?When you become an Account Strategist at Lofty, you'll be at the helm of a team full of multi-disciplinary experts. Each team is responsible for working directly with a Lofty client, understanding their business goals, and building out a strategic roadmap to help push them forward. Each account team operates autonomously, meaning that the roadmap and strategies you and your team propose will drive the work you do-what you can accomplish is limited only by your collective ideas and abilities.
Do you have experience helping team members succeed?Your work with the Account team will encompass managing up and down. Much of your time will be split between ensuring the development team meets deadlines as well as helping the client identify and address the true needs of the business. Lofty is a client services organization that requires all of us to strive for excellence professionally. We find the people who are most successful on the team are driven and focused on successful client outcomes. Part of your job will be helping instill that culture in clients and team members, and helping everyone on the team be the best they can be. Lofty runs a "no brilliant jerks" team, and you get to help us with that.
Are you capable of thriving on a remote hybrid team?While the majority of our leadership team is located in Northwest Arkansas our company is fully remote. That means there often won't be anyone standing over your shoulder watching you work (not that we ever did that when we did have an office, but you get the point). Some experience with the rhythm and focus needed for remote work is desirable for this position, but not required. As much of your time will be spent interfacing with the leadership team and interns, this position does require availability from 9-5 central. For this position there will be travel involved, we have a few conferences and in-person company-wide meetings that you will need to attend, but it'll be fun, we promise. In addition to company-wide travel, our Account Strategists will be required to travel to client locations, with and without the leadership team, periodically to maintain client relationships and project velocity. This will vary depending on the project, but we do not estimate it to be more than 12 times per year.
