SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES
The Grounds Shop Supervisor is responsible for planning,
organizing, and directing landscaping and grounds maintenance
activities. This position will maintain/repair irrigation systems
and perform snow/ice removal during inclement weather.

* The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
* At least three years of experience in landscaping, grounds
keeping, ground maintenance, or related area, including one year in
a supervisory capacity

Valid Driver's License
* At least five years of experience in landscaping, grounds
keeping, grounds maintenance, or related area including two years
in a supervisor capacity
* Experience with large scale irrigation systems
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAS)
* Knowledge of the methods and techniques used in landscaping and
* Ability to plan, organize, and direct a landscaping and grounds
* Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment
* Ability to maintain records and estimate landscaping and grounds
* Ability to supervise the work activities of subordinate employees
in landscaping and grounds maintenance

to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level., The
