About the College/Department The University of Arkansas, as part of the University of Arkansas System, is embarking on a transformational Workday project for its Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP). The project will encompass a phased implementation of Workday's Financial Management, Human Capital Management (HCM), and Student Administration for all System entities. The overarching vision is for the System to operate even more like a System by bringing member institutions onto the Workday ERP platform for all major business functions. Department Home Page Job Type Staff Summary of Job Duties The UAF ERP HCM Implementation Analyst is part of the Fayetteville campus' Workday implementation team. The duties of the position include assisting as needed to ensure a successful implementation of the Human Capital Management business processes related to worker data, payroll, benefits, compensation, job profiles, academic appointments, time tracking, absence management, recruitment, onboarding, safety incident, and talent development. The Analyst reports to the UAF ERP HCM Implementation Coordinator and will assist the Coordinator in tracking the project within scope, documenting gaps or discrepancies in business processes and/or implementation timeline and completing deliverables required by the overall implementation project plan. The Analyst will assist in socializing business processes and be heavily involved in all testing including end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing, and payroll compare testing as well as data validation. The Analyst will also be meeting with units regarding security role mapping and will assist in identifying policy changes and notifying policy owners of required changes. After go-live, the Analyst will provide front line support to Human Resources and other campus units as well as assist with any updates to data or business processes. This position will also be involved with the implementation of future Workday products. This effort will require substantial interaction with other central administration departments, as well as the academic and auxiliary units at large. Coordination and cooperation with other areas within the campus are required.
