• Collaborates with the corporate Facilities and Capital team and property management personnel to determine project requirements.
• Ensures personnel have access to the appropriate equipment and materials for each project.
• Directs day-to-day construction activities and provides constructive feedback to ensure mandated or contractual deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met.What We Require
  • College graduate preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. A degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of previous construction and supervisory experience, preferably within the student housing or a similar multi-family sector.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 80% or more in a year.
  • Obtains a valid driver's license.
  • Flexible, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with quickly re-prioritizing.
  • Values and fosters a sensitive and supportive approach to a diverse working and living environment.
  • Committed to excellence and high standards.
  • Proactively communicates project updates to Property Management and Capital Projects teams and establishes fluid communication.
  • Assists with maintaining organizational compliance with Venture governance expectations regarding bidding and contracting process.
  • Ensures both OSHA and Scion's and safety and security standards are met at each construction site for the entirety of the project.
