Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Plant Manager. The Plant Manager directs and manages all plant operations including production, warehouse, maintenance, and quality in a food manufacturing plant. The Plant Manager will be required to be a hands-on, self-starter with the ability to motivate and lead staff, and reach production goals while adhering to the highest safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all plant operations, ensuring the team meets production goals while maintaining high-quality standards.Develop and implement production plans to optimize efficiency and meet production targets.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Implement and enforce stringent quality control measures throughout the production process.Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead initiatives to improve operational effectiveness.Work closely with the finance department to develop and manage budgets for the plant, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.Requirements/Skills:Bachelor's degree (required)5+ years of experience in a food packaging plant (required)5+ years of experience as a Plant Manager in the meat processing industry.In-depth knowledge of and experience with USDA.Strong P&L experience.Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on collaboration and employee development.
