General DescriptionUnder limited supervision, is responsible for
supporting various processes and systems within the Loan Operations
department. This position is also responsible for writing queries,
preparing internal and external correspondence, compiling various
reports, maintaining files and records, and working on various
special projects and events. Assists with updating procedures and
new hire training programs within the Loan Operations
department.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssists management team with
special projects including tracking and documenting tasks that need
to be finished in order to complete projects. May also be involved
with completing tasks associated with projects to ensure
completion. This duty is performed daily, about 30% of the
time.Complies, organizes, and analyzes data and reports for
management team including but not limited to department performance
reports, compliance and internal monitoring, loan settlement
reconciliation's, fixed asset list, audit and examiner
documentation, etc. Completes a wide variety of word processing and
spreadsheet tasks including external correspondence, internal
memorandums, reports, and forms. This duty is performed about 20%
of the time.Creates ad hoc and routine queries (either through
AS400 query or using another query tool called Edash) to assist
with projects, monitoring and issues as needed. This duty is
performed about 20% of the time.Assists management team with
writing and updating department procedures. This duty is performed
about 10% of the time.Assists management team with associate
training programs. May perform group training or individual
training as well as written/online training courses. This duty is
performed about 10% of the time.Assists management team with
reviewing, updating, and maintaining the bank's core system loan
servicing parameters, notices, and statements. This duty is
performed about 5% of the time.Organizes and maintains the
departments' SharePoint site and intranet site. This includes
uploading new/updated procedures, calendar events, and useful
content. This duty is performed about 5% of the time.Maintains
regular and reliable attendance, punctuality, and personal
appearance. Adheres to all company policies and procedures, as well
as all applicable banking rules, regulations and laws (including
BSA/AML).Perform any other related duties as required or
assigned.
Education and Experience RequirementsHigh school or GED, plus
specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific
skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative,
equipment operation, etc, plus 2 years related experience and/or
training, or equivalent combination of education and
experience.While performing the functions of this job, the employee
is regularly required to sit; frequently required to use hands to
finger, handle, or feel, talk or hear; and occasionally required to
stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop,
kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or
move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this
job include close vision; and color vision.
