SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES
The Safe Ride Driver will drive a 10-14 passenger van on campus and city streets to safely transport students to their residence.
This position will perform a prescribed pre-operational and post-operational safety maintenance check, as well as accumulate and
record statistics for daily reports on passengers transported using an iPad. The Safe Ride Driver will operate a two-way radio
system. Regular, non-disruptive and reliable attendance is an essential job duty, as well as the ability to create and maintain
collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. Other duties as assigned.

* The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
* Age 18 or older
* A valid Driver s License in good standing
* Good communication skills (written and verbal)
* Customer service experience

* Repetitive motion
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; and/or visual inspection at distances close to the eyes. The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operates machines where the seeing job is at or within arm s reach; performs mechanical or skilled trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature, such as carpenters or technicians. The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment. The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned (i.e., custodial, general laborer, etc.) or to make general observations of facilities or structures (i.e., security guard, etc).
Monday - Tuesday 9:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.; Wednesday - Saturday 9:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
