SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES
The Inventory Control Technician sets-up special events for student
groups, faculty, staff, annual Commencement and Convocation and
Sorority/Fraternity functions. This position will load/unload
tables/chairs and set-up tables/chairs for special events; performs
related responsibilities as required or assigned including Tool
Crib assignments and/or supervision as necessary in the absence of
supervisor, powered equipment rentals and service fleet vehicle
rentals; maintains inventory, rotating stock items, keeping stock
locations neat and tidy, reporting any discrepancies regarding
issues, receipts, conditions, locations, etc; assists in receiving,
tagging, stocking and issuing stock items. The Inventory Control
Technician works with other team members and/or the stock buyer to
resolve discrepancies and delivers and picks up mail as

* Demonstrated good computer skills (Microsoft word, excel,

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAS)
* Knowledge of general inventory control procedures and

* Ability to operate standard office equipment
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS POSITION
The following physical activities are associated with the position

Employee is required to have visual acuity to determine the
accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned (i.e.,

vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
The employee is subject to both environmental conditions.
