Job Description:
Description This role will grow the Barcel USA business at
Walmart, as it specifically pertains to the center store and new
ventures. This person will be responsible for growing our current
portfolio, developing innovation and seasonality, in addition to
working in conjunction with supply chain, and DSD and warehouse
distribution, among other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver
results to Barcel USA and Walmart. The candidate will need a proven
record of driving for results with the customer, developing key
relationships, and propelling the company initiatives forward. They
must be accountable, creative, and self-motivated. This role will
support the Walmart Team Lead developing and executing the
strategic plan. What Will I Be Doing Strategically partner with
Walmart buyers and key decision makers to build and maintain strong
relationships for expansion and growth. Manage Walmart buyer
relationships, conflict resolution and long-term planning. Leverage
category insights and shopper data to identify growth opportunities
and influence Walmart’s modular planning. Collaborate with
marketing to support the development and launch of new items
tailored to Walmart’s strategy. Create and communicate a plan that
enables the team to hit sales and market share goals. Partner with
the DSD team and/or warehouse key stakeholders to execute against
plans. Create, and manage sales and spend budgets. Implement key
Barcel avenues of growth. Analyze the business to create actionable
insights. Create internal and customer sell decks. Create and lead
JBP process. Look for new ways to develop the business, including
incremental subcategories to build a bigger presence in store.
Track and report on KPIs including sales growth, market share,
distribution gains and promotional effectiveness. Qualifications
What Is Expected of Me Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years sales within
CPG industry at account management level. Must be adaptable, open
to collaboration, and have a strength for strategic thinking.
Demonstrated Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and
influence internal and external stakeholders. Must have strong
communications skills, with the ability to collaborate with both
leadership and cross functional teams. Proficient in Windows and
Retail Link (Power BI desirable). Experience collaborating with
Walmart - DSD and warehouse distribution models. Must have strong
organizational and time management skills. Make recommendations and
take appropriate action. Must be able to complete deliverables
accurately, at required deadlines. Experience managing Walmart
business with a strong understanding of center store and
omnichannel dynamics Proficiency using Walmart data and insights
(Supplier One, Scintilla (Charter preferred) and syndicated data)
to drive customer recommendations Solid category management and
modular planning skills, including assortment and price?pack
strategy Ability to partner cross?functionally with supply chain
and DSD team to execute plans Experience managing customer P&L,
sales budgets, and trade investment effectiveness Strong
communication and presentation skills, with the ability to
influence Walmart buyers and internal leadership Proven ability to
manage innovation launches and seasonal initiatives Results?driven,
self?motivated, and able to lead through collaboration in a
