Job Description:
Find your calling at Mercy! Utilizes the nursing process to
provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by
a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or
under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care
for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in
conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and
confidentiality of patient information. Position Details:
Incentives: - Education Assistance - Tuition Reimbursement up to
$2,000 per year - $30k in initial RN degree assistance - Weekend
Differential - Shift Differential for qualifying hours between
3pm-7am - Weekend Option Days: WEO rates weekend differential -
Weekend Option Nights: WEO rates weekend differential straight
night shift differential - New Increased Weekend Option
Differential: $8.00 LPN - Day-One comprehensive medical, dental &
vision insurance - Employer-Matched Retirement Funds
Qualifications: - Education: Graduate of an accredited practical
nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable
education experience and successful licensure. Licensure: Is
personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining a current LPN
license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are
performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements -
Experience: Can be new or experienced LPN - Certifications: - -
LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful
completion of course within 3 months of hire (range from upon hire
to within 1 year) - Basic Life Support certification through the
American Heart Association or successful completion of course
within 30 days of hire. - Physical requirements/demands: - Position
requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a

medical surgical population by managing chronic and acute onset
diseases. The types of patients we serve are those with
multi-system management needs such as infectious disease, wound
management, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes and gastro-intestinal
conditions, and post-surgical patients. We also coordinate
management of patients needing surgical interventions, EGD,
colonoscopy, outpatient infusion/chemo, and anti-coagulation
