We offer in-home occupational therapy services to individuals experiencing neuromuscular, skeletal, and perceptual challenges, all under the guidance of a physician. Position Overview: Occupational Therapist - Home Care Part-Time: 24 hours per week, Day Shifts Location: Festus, MO 63028 This role involves delivering in-home occupational therapy to patients with neurological and/or musculoskeletal conditions, following physician directives. Qualifications: Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program. Licensure: A valid state license and a current driver's license are required. Experience: At least one year of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, outpatient, home health, or long-term care settings is necessary. Certifications: CPR certification is mandatory. Additional Skills: Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities. Energetic, personable, and possesses effective time management and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation capabilities. Physically fit, able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, with occasional lifting of more than 50 pounds. Ability to work independently and manage emergencies without assistance. Adaptable to change, proactive, and committed to setting ambitious goals while seeking learning opportunities. Must be comfortable driving in challenging conditions and able to follow both written and verbal instructions, including map reading. Responsible for independently scheduling patient visits efficiently and updating the office daily. Participates in weekend and on-call rotations, maintaining regular communication with agency staff, physicians, hospital personnel, and the public. Handles confidential information regularly. Preferred Experience: Two years of experience in acute care or home care is preferred. Why Join Us?
