Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 4 ten-hour shifts Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM • 13-week assignment duration • Requires 2 years of OR RN experience with combination of Ortho, Plastics, OB/GYN • Required certifications: Active nursing license, ACLS, BLS, PALS • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in operating room patient care • Work as member of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR personnel • Ensure supplies are available and cases run on time • Communicate with patient families during procedures • Update physician preference cards as needed • Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases • Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the OR • Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies and procedures • Anticipate and plan for patient care needs throughout surgical procedures Facility: This specialized women's hospital focuses on providing comprehensive healthcare services specifically designed for women's unique medical needs.
