Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must have experience with Post CV surgeries. Experience with Post Stroke patients. Ability to titrate cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol). Experience with Bipaps and utilizing Airvos. Ability to recognize a deteriorating patient. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Step Down care. The unit has 16 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1. The role involves caring for post-operative cardiovascular, neuro, and respiratory patients. Equipment utilized includes Philips bedside monitors and an electronic medical record system. Candidates should be team-oriented and possess a compassionate approach to patient care. The schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week, with weekend rotations every other weekend. Floating to other units may be required as needed. Dress code requires black scrubs, with no hoodies allowed. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to patients during their recovery.
